ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Like many residents of the Valley of the Sun, aka metro Phoenix, Myrna is a happy midwest transplant. After visiting her parents here for some 20 years, she and her husband made the move from Indiana in 2013. After years of riding the county roads of Indiana, mountain biking was one of the aspirations associated with the move to Arizona.
Fun facts about Myrna:

12 year history of riding the trails within the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

More than 300 volunteer hours for the City of Phoenix as a Park Steward-Bike Patrol within the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

A certified Master Naturalist while living in Indiana, Myrna geeks on anything nature….be it plants, wildlife, geology.

Shortly after moving to Arizona, Myrna attended workshops at Reevis Mountain School to familiarize herself with her new flora and fauna friends here in Arizona.

As a member of the Central Indiana Wilderness Club Myrna led adventure trips such as overnight self-contained bike trips, canoe trips, backpacking and white water rafting.

And finally, Myrna speaks Spanish fluently having taught herself while on a 1 year sabbatical in Argentina.
